Mr. Troop Mom is an American 2009 Nickelodeon Original Movie starring George Lopez. The movie premiered on June 19, 2009 part of the Nick at Nite block on Nickelodeon. The movie will be released to DVD and Blu-Ray on June 23, 2009.
Plot: Public Defender Eddie Serrano (George Lopez) is a widower with a 13 year-old daughter Naomi (Daniela Bobadilla). A classic workaholic, Eddie has been M.I.A. for most of Naomi’s big moments. When Naomi falls off the bleachers at school, he vows to be there more for his daughter. But little did he know that that would mean that when the original team mom goes into labor Eddie will have to become the “Team Mom” for the Killer Bees, Naomi’s team in the Spring Action Classic at Camp Hulka’s Rock, he grabs it. He immediately does not fit in when he arrives at the camp.
